Business Development Manager

Job Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities for the IT company. This role involves understanding the company’s products and services, targeting potential clients, and fostering strategic partnerships to drive revenue and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.
  • Analyse competitors and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.
Lead Generation:
  • Identify and target potential clients, both through proactive outreach and by responding to incoming leads.
  • Qualify leads and assess their fit with the company’s products and services.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
  • Present the GTH Cloud 365 solutions and services to potential clients, addressing their needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of effective and customized solutions.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing to secure new business deals.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Act as a primary point of contact and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Continuously assess client needs and propose relevant IT solutions and services.
Partnership Development:
  • Identify potential strategic partners, vendors, and alliances.
  • Develop and manage partnerships to create synergies and expand the company’s reach.
Sales Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track sales and business development activities, including leads, conversions, revenue, and pipeline. Prepare regular reports and updates for management.
Market Expansion:
  • Explore new market segments and geographies for growth opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree may be preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, particularly in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud solutions, and IT consulting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Analytical skills for market research and trend analysis.
